About Capital Accountants & Advisors
Specialised accounting and audit services are key strengths of Capital Accountants & Advisors.
More than Accountants
A variety of services no matter how big your business is
Small businesses go through many changes and knowing how to cope with them can sometimes be a struggle. We use technology to empower our small business clients to keep ahead of the numbers and ensure that their accounts are in a good shape.
About us
We are chartered accountants that help small businesses with their accounting needs. Our solution is designed to save you time and money and offer you the correct advice when it comes to meeting your tax obligations.
We use market-leading online accounting software to streamline your bookkeeping and manage your cashflow. You are also allocated one accountant in our team who will work closely with you to help ensure your finance operations run smoothly.
Our reputation is growing because we value our clients and take pride in delivering a service that satisfies.
What we do
At Capital Accountants & Advisors we provide our clients with expert taxation and accounting guidance through a friendly and personal service. Our clients are also able to take advantage of our well-established network of branches which allow us to cover even the most specialist of queries.
We have plenty of expert knowledge across our team, so we can give you accurate advice in all the areas which affect your business.
Within our network each of our offices operate independently with Partners and Accountants who have a firm grasp of their own local economic areas. This means that our clients can enjoy the type of personal service you can expect from an established local firm as well as the resources of a large accountancy practice.
What is the difference between an accountant and a chartered accountant?
By law anyone can call themselves an accountant. The title ‘chartered accountant’ and the letters CA or ACA, however, indicates that the person has undertaken a minimum of three years in-depth training, passed a series of rigorous examinations in financial management, auditing, business strategy and taxation, and committed to continuing professional development to keep their skills up to date.
Although unqualified accountants are subject to the same laws as chartered accountants, ICAS or ICAEW Chartered Accountants are bound by the Code of Ethics and subject to our disciplinary procedures. They are required to hold a practising certificate and professional indemnity insurance if they offer professional services to the public.
Tech Driven
Through investment in the latest technology and online accounting software, we are able to work with a range of clients all over the UK. If you are VAT registered you will need to file your VAT returns through HMRC approved software to comply with Making Tax Digital.
We use Xero and FreeAgent accounting software to collaborate with our clients and are Xero Gold Partners and FreeAgent Platinum Partners. If you are with an accountant that uses spreadsheets or a different accounting software, we can help you make the switch.
